Also focused on valuation of illiquid structured debt instruments.Key Responsibilities:- Produce daily Profit and loss P&L production and explanation. Coverage included Structured Products (RMBS, CMBS, WBS), mortgages and secured financing- Produce and analyse the daily trading activities, to report the trading divisions’ profits and losses and to verify the values of positions held by the trading desks, both cash and derivative. These requires extensive liaison with the trading desks, the Risk Management Group and the Operations Teams. - Responsible for month end reconciliation which involves valuation adjustments, independent price verification, reserve review. And challenging external participants in case of discrepancies.- Responsible for quarterly illiquid valuation review and legacy CMBS Bond review.- Working with Investment Bank on calculation of ROAE and CCAR on different deals.- Reviewing trading activity with the objective of highlighting anything unusual and reporting this to management and to be aware of any development and issues in trading area.- Preparation and substantiation of Balance Sheet at entity and group level for Credit and Mortgages businesses.
