I assist in overseeing 100+ club members and organize club activities to support 5 divisions: Projects, Entrepreneurship, Publications, Education, and Outreach. Fostering a community of neurotechnology enthusiasts at UC Davis.

As Co-Head of the Entrepreneurship Division, I consult 20+ founders and help lead teams through entrepreneurial competitions as well as teach a curriculum focused on neurotechnology, neuroscience, and business. Frequent meetings to develop presentation materials (pitch deck, pitch, executive summary). 50% of division teams were selected as winners at the Little Bang Poster and Pitch Competition. 75% of teams made it to the final round of the Big Bang! Business Competition.As the Chief Innovation Officer, I assist in managing club operations and overseeing 100+ members. I also developed speaker series event alongside my commitment as a part of the students planning the CA Neurotechnology Conference.

As part of the inaugural team of the entrepreneurship division, I collaborated with my team to create NeuraletiX, an idea for a brain-computer interface (BCI) startup. Learned more about entrepreneurship, finance, and the neurotechnology industry. Worked to design a pitch deck and executive summary for early-stage concept. Designed a poster to promote our idea and presented at the Neurotechnology Conference hosted by CruX @ UCLA with 300+ attendees.

Research assistant at the Moxon Neurorobotics Lab in the UC Davis Center for Neuroengineering and Medicine.

Help students build startups through developing and leading workshops to teach students startup methodology and fundamentals. Work directly to support student founders and encourage entrepreneurial thinking to interested students.

As part of UC Davis Moot Court, I am part of the brief writing track which works to submit a legal argument for national competitions. Weekly meetings work to understand cases and how to write a legal argument. Moot Court simulates a hypothetical case with two constitutional issues.- 2nd Place Brief in Spring Competition

Managed 5 scientific research and engineering projects, built quarterly plans, conducted annual budgeting forecasting. Built infrastructure tools implemented to manage institute-wide multi-million dollar budgeting and resource efforts. Worked with and mentored by Scientific Project and Program Managers supporting large-scale neuroscience research projects.

I learned from a finance-focused curriculum through modules created by Wall Street Prep, Wharton Online, CFA Institute, and more. Topics included analysis of financial reports, accounting, excel, investment banking, and financial regulations.

Assisted in analyzing 6600+ acquired companies by recording their patents and clinical trials for research project with Professor Tseung. Research aims to better estimate the value of unpatented innovations currently undervalued in the market and in mergers.

Invited to competitive UC Davis undergraduate student accelerator program for startup. Engage in weekly meetings with interactive activities led by industry professionals while engaging in entrepreneurial cohort. Matched and met weekly with several mentors to gain greater insight into how to develop our startup. Our final deliverable was a pitch deck and pitch at the Demo Day event with 400+ attendees. We won the 1st place award and $10,000!

I supported Institute-wide efforts to provide opportunities in entrepreneurship by helping plan events, conducting outreach, and developing marketing strategies.

I collaborated in a team with three other talented students to work on writing a publication for the Berkeley Pharma Tech Journal of Medicine. Our review paper was focused on Anti-Inflammatory Interventions for Autism Spectrum Disorder. We conducted literature reviews of 50+ papers to write our paper. As an intern, I also engaged in networking events and personal and professional development opportunities.

I gained skills in molecular biology techniques through hands-on experience with lab skills and lab safety training. Completed pre and post-lab assignments to solidify understanding of lab training.
