As a Project Associate at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), I work on a project that aims to characterize chickpea germplasm and accelerate genomics-assisted crop improvement. With a masters degree in plant breeding and genetics from PAU, I have a strong background in plant science and data analysis. I am also pursuing a diploma in customer service representatives from Fleming College, expected to graduate in 2024.In my current role, I design and implement field experiments, collect and analyze data, and prepare project reports and research papers. I collaborate with other researchers and staff to screen chickpea germplasm for various biotic and abiotic stresses, using advanced techniques and tools. I have contributed to multiple publications and presentations on the topic of chickpea genomics and breeding.I am passionate about improving crop productivity and quality through genomics and breeding, and I enjoy learning new skills and technologies. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a combination of plant science, data analysis, and customer service skills. I am also motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the environment and society through my work.
