I contribute to global initiatives focused on antimicrobial resistance, including the development of policy briefs and situational analysis reports, reviewing National Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance for various countries.As a part of the Global Antibiotic Resistance Partnership (GARP), I co-ordinate follow-up meetings among collaborators and stakeholders while also assessing antibiotic consumption and infection burden in countries in Africa, South Asia and South-East Asia.

As an assistant at the INHALE Clinical Trials, I focused on screening and reorganizing BSL-3/CL3 clinical trial samples while also managing the creation, sorting, and analysis of a comprehensive data library. I also explored the potential of Tuberculomucin, a forgotten treatment for tuberculosis, by producing and testing this TB biofilm with potential immunogenic activity, alongside preparing bacterial cultures and media. I contributed to research on heteroresistance to Cefiderocol in clinical Gram-negative isolates, where I prepared samples for MALDI-TOF analysis and conducted whole genome sequencing using the minION genetic sequencing technology.

I contributed to the production of grant applications, scientific papers, abstracts, and project reports for various research projects including the study of heteroresistance to Cefiderocol in clinical Gram-negative isolates where I identified heteroresistance in Carbapenemase and Extended Spectrum ß-Lactamase (ESBL) resistant clinical isolates and curated a sample library based on antibiotic susceptibility and resistance patterns. I also recorded changes in MIC values and frequency of bacterial growth in heteroresistant colonies after culturing with and without antibiotic pressure using broth microdilution (BMD) and modified population analysis profile (mPAP) assays and performed DNA extraction and quantification assays.

Studied the associations between heteroresistance and different multi-drug resistant clinical isolates of Gram-negative bacteria against Cefiderocol.Identified heteroresistant sub-populations and determined their susceptibility and frequency using disc diffusion and modified Population Analysis Profiling (mPAP) technique.
