I have a work experience of 8 years, split evenly between working in finance (KPMG) & Ed-Tech (Unacademy & Growth School). I spent the initial years of my career in finance where I worked with large data sets - using tools like tableau and MS Excel. I worked for clients like Credit Suisse & Lazard on Pre M&A project analysis. While the work was interesting, I was intrigued in the business side of things, and decided to make a shift into business. At Unacademy. I joined as part of the team that worked on the top of the funnel for the business through YouTube Channels. I managed a team of 100 educators helping them build content and grow their personal brand. This was high impact work as every video would be watched by lacs of students in preparation for competitive exams. My main KPIs were YT views and Revenue generation by the Educators. This was my first experience of managing a team as I hired & trained a team of 11 people (interns & full-time). Growth School has been a different experience as its an IC role, however here I was exposed to the entire life cycle of a program. I am involved right from ideation to devising the launch strategy including pricing, P&L and operations. On the supply side I work with mentors (content development, teaching pedagogy and relationship management). On the demand side I focus on refining the learner experience, coordinating with sales teams to enroll learners and customer success team to ensure seamless experience. I also work with the performance marketing teams & content teams on the GTM for launch to ensure the right visibility for my programs.
