The Kelley HOPE Project is an initiative designed to assist Indiana small businesses in digital operations during short-term sprints. This project enables students to provide support to clients in three main areas: websites, digital storefronts, and social media. As a client team lead intern, I facilitated client interactions and managed team deliverables and communications for the 9 businesses I supported this summer. Technologies I worked with to design websites include the front and back-ends of content management systems such as WordPress and Wix. The technical documentation I prepared based on research enabled clients to manage social media, websites, and take advantage of search engine optimization tools.

As a Technology Analyst Summer Scholar, I utilized my information systems background to translate technical code to functional requirements and analyze process flows. As a database management intern, I combined my attention to detail with my ability to work quickly in a limited time frame in order to maintain database consistency. During the internship, I significantly improved my time-management skills as I interned at Stone Belt while taking courses during the spring semester.

As a peer tutor for the Kelley course K204: Computers in Business, I guided students as they learned how to use advanced functions in Excel and utilize Access to organize databases. Peer tutoring allowed me to retain the technical skills I acquired in the course and learn how to effectively translate technology lessons to students who require support.
