Dr. Sarah L. Beebe is a scholar and educator transforming interprofessional and nursing education. Sarah is known for her teaching innovations and research in simulation for nearly the past decade in the academic and hospital setting and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). She has devoted most of her current research to advanced practice nursing simulation and use of virtual technology, creating hybrid simulated experiences. Her clinical background is in women’s health and maternity as a nurse-midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner with a focus in out-of-hospital birth. She is currently the Graduate Medical Education Simulation Lab Program Manager and host of Scrub In, a podcast that focuses on healthcare stories and the ‘why’ behind each healthcare uniform, at Bayhealth Medical Center in Delaware.
