Firmware upgrade for Vodacom (MSC's)

- Monitoring of all network systems in a 3-shift roster (24 Hours/day 7 days/week)- Detect emergency cases and initiate emergency procedure- Create Trouble Tickets within the workflow tool in case of failure and outage in thelive network (also coming from Customer Services side).Incidents will be escalatedin order to undertake the necessary actions to recover this- Responsible for the Incident and Ticket until it is resolved- Routine works like shifts reports, working on TT’s etc- Deliver feedback towards NOC administration support that will be delivered towardscustomer- Installation of networks elements through terminals- Analysis and fault clearance of Network Elements- Interface between regional-business and internal or external departments in thecase of appearing questions in the operative course- Ensure that the Ticket content quality is up to the required standard- Ensure that the response time taken for the creation of tickets on receipt of fault iswithin 15minutes- Ensure time taken to analyse and initiate technology escalations towards FieldServices or Second Level Support (SLM) is within the prescribed 30 minutesallocation- Ensure that time taken for rerouting or switching of services dependant on type ofescalation is within the prescribed allocation of 5 minutes- You are required to report for shift duty 30minutes prior to ensure smooth handoverand that you will be compensated accordingly- Inter alia functions
