Simona has over 4 years of experience in care coordination, patient case management, and patient advocacy. As a Behavioral Therapist, she has been using her well-developed knowledge and skill sets to focus on the underserved in ABA. Her primary focus is field work so she can accrue data that will fuel new theories, procedures, and research that can benefit the Black and Brown communities of LA County and their relation to mental/behavioral health. Simona continuously pursues internal and external learning opportunities for herself and her professional development. Simona has also spent time working on a contract with DHS in Pasadena serving as a Care Coordinator for the Homeless population. She proactively takes responsibility for learning about trends and changes in her field and regularly seeks and acceptsfeedback for development and improvement. Simona recognizes additional work and duties as an opportunity, as she is always focused on providing the highest level and quality of patient care byexhibiting professionalism, respect, and dignity always.
