Under my Principal Investigator, Prof Pierce Chow, I manage a large, whole-of-nation investigator-initiated cohort study and a regional registry in liver cancer across the Asia-Pacific region, which are funded by institutional and national competitive grants from the A*STAR Biomedical Research Council and industry.Primary responsibilities:- Coordination with multiple local and overseas stakeholders to oversee project execution, progress and delivery of key milestones.- Maintenance of study-level activities in accordance with Good Clinical Practice, including budgeting and regulatory submissions such as IRB.- Assisted with drafting and costing of new grant proposals- Interface with legal, tech-transfer and intellectual property management teams across multiple institutions on contractual details and data transfer.- Oversee the development of clinical and research management databases to facilitate secure access, transfer and analysis of patient-derived information.- Provide broad range administrative support to plan, organize and manage research-related meetings and conferences.Key Achievements: - Awarded the NCCS Publication Award CY24 Q2

Under the supervision of Dr Tan Min-Han and Ms Jess Vo, I aimed to optimise operations within the Company and its laboratories. This includes ensuring the Quality Management System is in compliance with MOH PHMC, ISO15189, ISO13485, CLIA and CAP standards. I prepared documents as required for internal and external quality audit processes and managed day-to-day operations within the company including:- Daily procurement as required by the laboratory and office- Compilation and digitalization of legal agreements- Clinical data processing- Consolidation of over 1,400 patient histories and treatment methods for publication purposes at ASCO 2020. - Spearheaded the development and launch of a unified inventory system for 5 different laboratory teams, consisting of 4,210 items.

As a Product Specialist, I handled the preparation of marketing collaterals, web design and graphics for product launches. I helped organise and facilitate 3 roadshows during my short stint and reviewed the product placement and promotions of our products at various consumer retail channels.

Under the NUS Undergraduate Research Opportunity Programme, I worked at Shaolab for a Semester with guidance from Dr Shao Huilin and Dr Noah Sundah. My work focused on multiplexed molecular diagnostics of colorectal cell lines using immunofluorescence imaging and flow cytometry analysis.

Under the guidance of Dr Shao Huilin at Shaolab, I assisted the lab in drafting of risk assessments and standard operating procedures of various lab equipment and techniques. Laboratory work undertaken includes flow cytometry, cell culture and gel imaging.

Under the guidance of Dr Paul Free Francis, in collaboration with Dr Robert Marks from CREATE, I was a student collaborator working on microfluidics for the diagnosis of flavivirus. This work was done to fulfill my H3 Research subject and this work was presented at the International Science and Engineering Fair in 2016.
