Working in the Engineering Foundations department in a multi-disciplinary team, my responsibilities include:- Development and maintenance of .NET internal frameworks, with a special focus on the maintenance and development of the observability frameworks (Metrics, Tracing, Logging);- Working with other engineering teams, engineering principals and architects, in the migration of the legacy OpenTracing specification to OpenTelemetry specification;- Working closely with the observability team developing metrics and tracing guidelines, and frameworks evolution;- Maintainer of open-source library KafkaFlow- Development of a framework that is being used as the core of multiple microservices, using the Microservice Chassis pattern;- Supporting Farfetch engineers with the usage of the internal frameworks;- Development of internals tools to help increase the development productivity within the company;- Development of best practices, coding guidelines, and project templates to be used by the other company software engineers;- Mentoring newcomers that are entering the team through the Plug-In program.

As an Engineering Lead in the Finance department, my main responsibilities included:- Working with Product Managers planning short-term and long-term initiatives;- Management of project execution;- Managing a team of high skilled engineers and helping them developing their capabilities and careers (performance reviews; feedbacks and goals);- Coordinate the evolution of software projects with company architects and infrastructure engineers.

As a Software Engineer, I worked in a SCRUM team giving capabilities to the finance software projects which included:- Design and development of microservices using .NET/C#, SQL Server, MongoDB, Casandra, Apache Kafka, and REST APIs with Swagger documentation;- Feature validation using unit and integration tests;- Helping the migration of the .NET framework projects to .NET Core;- Maintenance work on legacy applications.

As a Junior Engineer, I worked in a SCRUM team that started the process of breaking the existent finance monolith into microservices which included:- Design and implementation of a new reporting service using .NET Framework/C#, Hangfire, Microsoft SQL Server, and Git service control;- Feature validation using unit and integration tests.
