Working in different projects in the automotive field related with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems:— Developing text-to-code generation solutions with Large Language Models and NLP to generate IPG CarMaker virtual scenarios from text descriptions and test requirements;— Integrating ADAS source code into Virtual Environments, such as IPG Carmaker, using C++ programming language;— Conducted research on synthetic labelled data generation using CARLA simulator and supervised a master’s student on the subject;— Built a Driver-in-the-Loop setup with CARLA simulator and Continental’s ADAS algorithms to evaluate and test ADAS applications;— Developing and executing testing toolchains for ADAS applications, like Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Pre-Crash System and Rear Crossing Traffic Alert, using Python and C++ programming languages.— Drew ADAS functions for simulation visualization purposes, using C++ programming language

The project topic was «Motorcycle modeling for eCVT-in-the-loop real-time hybrid testing». The work packages consisted in the design of 3 behavioral models: Engine model, Multibody model and Braking system model.Skills and scientific knowledge shown and acquired:— Modelling the behavior of a complex mechanical system = a motorcycle (engine dynamics, vehicle dynamics, brake system dynamics);— Becoming proficient with industrial engineering software (Simcenter Amesim, Simcenter 3D Motion);— Critically examining research papers and extracting key information;— Instrumentation of system-under-test with a measurement system.— Learned to be a leader of my own project, taking part in team meetings and presenting my progress among highly qualified colleagues;— Gained working experience not only with professionals from other disciplines and fields, but also with representatives of other cultures;
