Operations Manager
Current. Develop and implement systems and checklists to enhance safety across all departments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and improving operational efficiency. Improve quality, efficiency, and accuracy of works by effectively communicating with OEMs, customers and other business partners, leading and coaching Operations team through their professional development and implementing and improving systems within Operations divisions. Oversee pump repairs and service works, develop, and implement guidelines and procedures for workshop and service team to ensure consistency, quality, cost, and timeline targets while guiding the team towards successful outcomes. Design and implement effective systems across the Operations divisions for scheduling jobs, reporting, and quoting repair works, overseeing warehouse DIFOT goals, and overall ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Oversee design and development of products from an Engineering point, and ensure products meet relevant standards. Direct product design to ensure optimised production. Manage pumping projects and onsite installations; Act as a conduit among OEMs, customers, sales team and service team to ensure quality and punctuality standards in projects, custom builds, and repairs are met. Provide technical advice to sales team on projects as required. Constantly review Operations procedures and standards and monitor performance and relevant measurables to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, and to achieve projects’ turnaround times and set KPIs. Monitor costs and charges to improve the profitability across all divisions. Provide technical support to Engineering and Service teams on repairing and troubleshooting all type of pumps, including centrifugal pumps, progressing cavity pumps, peristaltic pumps, and other types of positive displacement pumps , and drive systems and controllers
