Facilitate effective program execution in 5 western US markets by maintaining bi-weekly check-ins with site Program Directors, supporting the hiring and training of staff, driving strategy, and other supports as needed.Conduct Quality Delivery Index (QDI) via observations, interviews, and data review to assess programmatic bright spots and areas for improvement. Compile findings and create action plans for local site to implement.Curate program standards and operating procedures. (Ex. Surveyed all sites and assessed stakeholder needs to create an org-wide policy to define the process by which students earn an internship. As a result, increased equity of student experience and consistency of corporate partner experience across varied geographic regions.)Liaise with members of the National Program Team as well as other internal teams (Corporate Engagement, Finance, IT, etc.) to inform site-wide improvements and facilitate rollout and successful adoption.Relocated as internal consultant to Dallas/Fort Worth site for 8 months to address performance gaps in student recruitment and retention. Accountable for all programmatic elements of the San Francisco office, Summer Search’s oldest site - serving 375 students annually, overseeing recruitment, admissions, events, program delivery, and team training.Increased staff diversity, as hiring manager, to more closely reflect the demographics of our student population.Led a team of 13 staff comprised of Program Associates, Senior Program Associates, and Program Managers. Co-developed, with Executive Director, and implemented a strategic staff reorganization to increase productivity, professional development opportunities, and management bench strength.

Oversaw all aspects of the admissions process including outreach, recruitment, advertising, interviews, student assessment, and the acceptance of a cohort of 160 students every March and September. Annually connected with over 1,000 young adults in the Boston area, interviewed and assessed over 500 applicants, and accepted and dually enrolled over 300 students in Year Up and our college partner, Cambridge College.Served as a member of our Year Up Boston Leadership Team responsible for encouraging collaboration across functional teams and promoting a healthy work organizational culture.Managed and coached four admissions staff members. Helped them to meet their organizational responsibilities, their professional development goals, and fostered an environment of high support and high performance.Mentored 6 students annually and facilitated interactive activities for a group of 50 students and staff around topics like leadership, identity, and communication as a member of a 10-person Learning Community team. Promoted to Director in 2010 after two years as Manager of Outreach and Admissions.

Served my country through a year of volunteer service at Year Up Boston.Built new relationships from the ground up with local high schools, GED programs, and community organizations while maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships as part of our outreach and student recruitment efforts.
