• As a MCR and Ingest – my responsibilities were to manage and administrating all the broadcast operations in order to maintain flawless broadcast 24/7.• Managing MCR and ingest Team, coordination with all concerned departments, particularly close with PCR/Studio, Video editor, News, presentations, Production and Archives Departments.• Operating all the modules such as Play out, Media Library, scheduler sender, meta data sender, schedule importer, logger, collector, redundancy manager, Media Manager for the final output of the channel On-air. • Setting up and monitoring audiovisual links between MCR and different locations like Bureau, Broadcast Backpack and DSNG etc.• Create 24 hours On-Air Play List or Schedule. Compile Commercials & Promos. Maintain Promo, Commercials & Programs for On-Air.• Ingestion and capturing of programs through the server, VTR's, live feed, clean feed, 24 hours on-Air feed and FTP.• Audio/Video quality checks. Preparing cue sheets. Firing GFX, Logo, Bug, Doggy, Popup, L-shape popup, I-shape popup, Tickers and scrolls from graphics engine. • Preparing as run logs and forwarding it to the concern department. Managing space in servers. Transferring recorded Video to edit bays. Troubleshooting play-out operations.• Coordinating with Producers, PCR and MCR for any last minute change. Managing the whole transmission and monitoring the down link.
