My training ensured that l can meet deadlines as set out.Accounts Payables Supervisor Duties and responsibilities• Processing invoices in a timely manner and making sure expenses go to the correct department and general ledger.• Set up Accounts payable filling system and handling of internal inquiries regarding the Accounts payable process.• Preparation of accruals and participation in month-end close procedures• Reconciliation of foreign inter-companies’ monthly statements, investigation, and resolving discrepancies.• Working with the Finance Manager to develop and maintain robust internal controls over Accounts Payables. • Preparation of monthly freight supplier reconciliations; Local Pip Account reconciliation and Foreign Pip Account reconciliations• Preparation of Foreign payments and allocations• Responsible for the team of four (6) members' deliverables.• Point of contact with top Management –Finance Manager, and Finance Director• Ensure deadlines are met fully.• Coordinate team deliverables. Managing colleagues, workloads, and deadlines• Assisted auditors in their search and review of accounts• Reviewing master data changes in-line with entity laid down procedures.• Preparation of the Spend and Trend analysis.• Maintaining the Vendor master data audit trail.• Review of Concur approvals ensuring expense claims are in line with policies and procedures• Performing Payment runs (weekly).• Manual and emergency payments actioning• Review of Creditors Ageing analysis and clearing of long-term outstanding items. • Oversight of the freight invoice booking process• Attending to all AP-related issues and queries.
