I am the CFO of ICOS. I am involved in reviewing legal and taxation matters which impact on our co-operatives. Including the ICOS 555 Scheme an Income Volatility tool and advocating changes to The Industrial and Provident Societies Acts 1893 – 2014.

In addition to my responsibilities as Secretary to the Board, I provide accounting and administrative services to the Trust.

Senior auditor on the audit of company's (including group company's) across a broad spectrum of industries, (insurance, construction, haulage, publications, advertising, solicitors, property management companies and Charities. Senior Accountant for accounts prepared for companies under audit exemption rules, owner managed businesses, partnerships, sole-traders and individuals. Management accounts were also prepared for a number of other clients.I was the book keeper for an advertising agency and a digital advertising company. Responsibilities included maintaining the daily books and records along with monthly reconciliations including bank, cash, debtors, creditors, credit control, payroll and submission of vat returns / P30’s to the Revenue Commissioners. Management accounts and cash flows were prepared on a monthly basis. For one of these companies I carried out debt collection. I was involved in the daily operations of a property management partnership. Responsibilities included all transactions with the banks and creditors, cash flow projections and working capital management.Other Responsibilities:Due Diligence (preparation & reporting) for one of our larger clients.Training post graduate accountants on a daily basis.Researching any technical issues to ensure compliance with Institute Guidelines.
