In my current role as Senior Vice President of Shell’s global Low Carbon Fuels (LCF) business, I am responsible for the advancement, production, and supply of Shell’s biofuels and e-fuels, which are key to decarbonising our product offerings and supporting our customers in the transition to net zero. We produce high-quality biofuels and e-fuels from sustainable sources today, expanding existing production pathways and developing new advanced technologies for the future. We’re also collaborating closely with technology partners, governments and customers to support policy initiatives and build a solid commercial ecosystem for these products. With three decades in the energy sector, my journey began at BG Group, where I joined as a graduate geophysicist in 1993 and was appointed as e EVP Safety and Sustainability, and a member of BG Group’s Executive Committee. When Shell and BG Group's merger plans were announced, I took on the role of leading the BG Group Integration Planning Team, before transitioning to Shell as the UK County Chair in 2016. After representing Shell in the UK energy sector for 5 years, I embraced the opportunity to lead our LCF business - a prime example of Shell’s growing ambition to deliver more value with less emissions.
