Lead the Central Technical Team in C&C responsible for Safety, Heath & Environment, Quality Systems, Product Development, Packaging Development and Regulatory Compliance

Lead a team of Product and Process Development Managers and Technologists driving forward the Innovation pipeline and developing a fast efficient Innovation Process working closely with Marketing to bring new products to the market within shorter timeframes while also carrying out detailed commercial and product risk assessments to reduce the risk of failure on the Marketplace. In addition we carried out continuous optimisation work on the Fermentation and Maturation processes, trialling new technology and fermentation management techniques to improve quality and consistency of our products without changing the taste profile.

This involved driving a team of Research Specialists, engineers and microbiologists to recreate a unique traditional cider-making process in a modern cider-making facility without changing the taste profile or the natural microflora significantly. At the same time we had an extensive range of new products to develop from cider, beer, liqueuers, spirits and novel hybrid products to develop and bring to market.
