Promoted within the Student Support and Wellbeing team, I strive to ensure a successful life cycle for students at UCL and maintain a holistic approach to student support. I am responsible for managing ‘Student Cause for Concern’ referrals and supporting students with a range of sensitive and complex needs, ensuring they are supported professionally and appropriately. I am also responsible for the management of UCL’s relationships with partner organisations to open specialist referral pathways for students. I lead on the organisation and development of a suite of training and information sessions for staff and students on matters relating to student wellbeing to share best practice and raise awareness of support services across the institution. I am passionate about providing the highest levels of satisfaction and continually monitor and evaluate feedback from students to keep their needs as the priority.

Based within the Student Support and Wellbeing team, I support the delivery of an efficient and effective wellbeing advisory service for students of UCL. This includes, but is not limited to; coordinating arrangements for, and providing support to, students who have interrupted their studies for health and wellbeing issues, acting on 'Student Cause for Concern' referrals, providing proactive welfare support to students, and undertaking training to develop skills and expertise in the field of mental health and student support.

Based within the International Student Support team at UCL, I am responsible for developing, promoting and delivering a welfare advisory service for international students to UCL to ensure a smooth transition to life in the UK. This is includes, but is not limited to; developing and managing a newsfeed for new students, providing specialist advice to international students on a range of welfare issues, assisting with the organisation of the International Student Orientation Programme, coordinating the Global Ambassador scheme and managing student-facing communication channels to engage and support students throughout their time in London.

Expanding on my previous role at Regent's, I work closely with the Study Abroad Manager, International Partnerships Office staff and other internal departments to increase study abroad student numbers and enhance the student experience at Regent's University London. This includes, but is not limited to, marketing Regent's as a study abroad destination, ensuring a smooth running of student orientation programmes, assisting students prior to and throughout their stay at Regent's, and managing the University's important relationships with partner institutions.

Based within the Inbound team in the International Partnerships Office, I am the primary contact for all incoming study abroad students, assisting and supporting students with any query or concern they may have. In collaboration with the rest of the Inbound team, I am responsible for the coordination and administration of international student applications, as well as the planning and execution of orientation activities for over 1,000 students each year. Student support is key to my role, working closely with other departments to ensure a successful 'life-cycle' for all students, from the initial enquiry through to their departure at the end of the semester.

Based at the front desk of the International Partnerships Office, I was the first point of contact for all students, visitors and university staff. Providing a friendly and efficient service to all, whilst supporting the International Partnerships Office team with the administration of the Erasmus programme, planning and execution of visits, events and faculty-led Summer programmes.

Responsible for arranging internship placements in London for international students, maintaining good relationships with a number of placement-providing companies whilst liaising with new companies to assess interest in becoming an internship provider.

Mentoring individual students at a local school throughout their GCSE year, supporting them with their studies, encouraging the further development of academic skills and promoting the benefits of further and higher education.
