Sinead Koehler is a Associate Lecturer, MA Arts and Cultural Enterprise at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London. Colleagues describe her as "I first met Sinead back in 2017 when I was teaching on Business Models and Finance unit of the MA Arts and Cultural Enterprise at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. I was fascinated by her story of the Crafty Fox Market which she started over ten years ago as an innovative platform for artists and crafts makers. Crafty Fox Market is a wonderful case study to illustrate how successful and sustainable business models flow from effective leadership and professional practices. Having successful completed her MA, it was important to me that others learn from Sinead’s story. In November 2019, Sinead gave a really insightful talk on Curating, Selecting and Pricing to the undergraduate students on the Diploma of Professional Studies at London College of Communication who were working on the WoW Pop-up Christmas Shop. The talk marked a turning point for the students on the professionalization of their project and was significant contributory factor in the curation of a visually amazing interactive shop that exceeded their financial target by 100%. A week later, Sinead was one of three panelists of cultural leaders/entrepreneurs talking about their leadership, business models professional practices to a cohort of the MA students. It wonderful to hear Sinead had applied the learning from MA course to enhance her practice as a cultural leader and entrepreneur as well as the re-modeling of the Crafty Fox.
