I manage internal communications for Airbnb's global operations teams - Community Support and Payments. I work with leaders and stakeholders to craft and deliver comms strategies, messages and channels for teams across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.For five years, I was one of two Dublin 'Social Impact Ambassadors' in Airbnb - planning and organising employee volunteering, philanthropy and community engagement activities across our Irish offices.Before joining Airbnb, I ran BT's 'Better Future'​ corporate responsibility programme in Ireland. This included all employee volunteering, community and charity initiatives and the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition. Prior to that, I led BT Ireland's internal communications and events team. I have also worked in internal communications in Intel and Eircom.I was a Director of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) for four years and a guest lecturer on the Institute's Certificate in Internal Communications course. I'm an experienced radio broadcaster, both in news/ current affairs and music programming. I have produced and presented "Mellow Sunday Morning" on 8Radio.com, since 2013 and prior to that spent seven years (as a part-time volunteer) with Phantom FM. 8Radio is an online radio station broadcasting from Dublin, playing an eclectic range of music and staffed by a group of people passionate about radio and great music. I have a degree in politics and social policy from University College Dublin and a BTEC higher national diploma in radio production and journalism from Ballyfermot College of Further Education. In 2009, I completed a post-graduate diploma in internal communications management at Kingston University in London. I also have diplomas in public relations and event management and achieved joint first place in Ireland, in my PR diploma exams - winning the Gladys Nevin trophy for 'Student of the Year 2006'.I love music (all types but especially classical), theatre and cinema, collecting books, baking and travel.
