I have been assisting stylist, Cathy O'Connor since November 2014. A role filled with variety, working with Cathy means I get to experience every side of the fashion world. From styling shoots, to assisting on television segments to generating articles for Xpose.ie, the diverse workload is so beneficial in building my expertise across a number of areas.

Alongside my position at Facebook, I also headed the social media campaign for Irish designer, Melissa Curry's #beyourownsucces jewelry campaign in connection with International Women’s Day. My duties for this role involved generating written and photography content across a number of social media platforms, while providing written content for her BYOS.MelissaCurry.com. This project was such a rewarding experience for me as it combined my biggest passions of fashion, journalism and philanthropy.

Aside from that, the position itself helped me to build up my confidence in sales and customer service. I also gained a keen interest in merchandising while in fashion retail which once again spurred on my desire to work in fashion.
