Reports: - Draw reports on Sage system for negative leave balance- Draw sick leave balance, when requested- Draw monthly reports for annual leave balance- Draw monthly report for non-bargaining employees- Draw payslip reports for Medical Aid Salary update- Draw salary reports for increases2. Payroll- Ensure all unpaid leave has been captured on SAGE- Take note of all appointments and terminations- prepare payroll memo on monthly basis - Make changes on Service Allowance Spreadsheet- Make changes on Fixed Term Contracts spreadsheet- Sending out communication for contract renewals and terminations- Capture and calculate maternity pay- Calculate leave pay-outs- Assist employees with medical aid applications- Explain medica aid options- Ensure employees know how to complete applications, - Ensure all terminated employees are removed from the medical aid - update medical aid spreadsheet3. Recruitment & Selection- Advertisement of vacant posts- Screening of applications- assist and advise with shortlisting- Sit in interviews- Advise on best candidate- Do criminal record checks4. Industrial Relations- Advise Departmental heads on all IR related issues- Ensure all-important HR communication such as policy amendments sent is sent out to departments timeously- Attend disciplinary hearings- Attend grievances- Attend CCMA cases- Create bundles for CCMA cases- Transcribe recorded minutes- Attend general IR queries from staff- Ensure disciplinary cases are adhered to5. Administration- General Administration duties- Filing- Update files on Sage Folder- Scanning of Files and other documents
