Quality Assurance Key Responsibilities- Actively participate at all points in the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure quality is built into software products and services.- Develop or specify standards, methods, and procedures to determine software product quality or release readiness based on documented requirements and acceptance criteria.- Participate in software product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, software product designs, schedules, or potential problems.- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, completeness or to mitigate risks.- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.Quality Control Key Responsibilities- Review Business Project Management team decisions to find potential risks or oversights.- Review Software Project requirements for completeness and sufficient applicability to acceptance criteria.- Review Software Development documentation for usability and completeness.- Verify that development has followed documented, standardized processes.- Design, develop and maintain the testing environment, testing framework, test plan, regression test suites and test cases in accordance with changing requirements.- Isolate, report, verify and regress bugs in bug tracking database.- Coordinate testing across teams.- Monitor and escalate deviations from documented processes that may result in defects.
