Following diagrams and written instruction to repair a fault or set up a system. Supporting the roll out of new applications. Providing support for issues related to Satellite communication. Ensuring all fleet vessels are protected against Virus attacks by installing/assisting vessels with latest patches of AV and regular monitoring for any breach in security. Setting up new user accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues, responding within agreed time limits to call-outs. Prioritizing and managing open cases, rapidly establishing a good working relationship with colleagues and other professionals. Provide 24 x 7 IT support to ships. Actively contribute to service improvement process.

1) Supporting HOD Technical in managing the vessel’s PMS, Survey, certification and repairs to ensure cost optimization.2) Monitoring and reporting vessels performance.3) Monitoring all the Monthly Reports from the vessel.4) Following up on Lubricating oil/Bunker/Boiler & Cooling water analysis Reports and highlighting any deviations to the Technical Superintendent and Vessel for following up action.5) Keeping Vessels Certificate folder updated.6) Collating the necessary data required for the preparation of Owners reports.7) Following up on the service/repair arrangements as arranged by Technical superintendent by way of issuance of timely Purchase Orders, Logistical Support etc.8) Communicating with classification Societies for Annual & occasional Surveys as directed by the Technical Superintendent.9) Arranging annual and routine servicing of vessels equipment.10) Improving company’s IT system.11) Making Brochure, Website and Technical presentations for management.

1) Developing Excel Database from technical publications provided from vessels.2) Monitoring jobs reported by vessels through PMS.3) Monitoring PMS office version for data issues and rectifying them to maintain PMS database quality.4) Working on Shipmate & Optimize PMS simultaneously for different vessels. 5) Monitoring PMS data packets exchange & Preparing PMS reports.6) Liaising with vessel staff for smooth operation of PMS.7) Conducting pre-joining briefing to the new joiners on PMS.8) Coordinating with service providers to troubleshoot PMS problems.9) Vessel visits for PMS implementation & on-board training for all officers.10) Vessel visits for spare inventory control and updating the same in PMS.11) Vessel visits for ensuring vessel audit/inspection/surveys.
