Troubleshoot and diagnose rotating equipment problems such as seals leakage, low flow, low discharge pressure, high bearing or casing temperature, high vibration. Locate equipment faults and operating irregularities by making the necessary diagnostic tests, measurements and analyses. Repairs on equipment in place on the field or, if necessary, by stripping in the workshop. Repairs to be made and replace parts. Maintenance on assigned equipment, stripping down, replacing, fabricating or re-machining parts. Reassemble equipment, run operating tests to ensure satisfactory repair. Commissioning of rotating equipment and hand over to production. High-skilled diagnostic and machinist tasks as required. Corrective maintenance on equipment and installations on all types of mechanical equipment including bases, line-up, gear box, coupling and speed control settings, test run, commissions and handover to operations. Guidance and work direction for assigned crew members. Supervise contractors during projects and plant shutdowns.Perform any other job related tasks on the units. Participate in project bunch-listing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and plant start up. Identify spare parts for rotating equipment and provide replacement repair kits if necessary. Optimize repairs for rotating equipment. Repairs and overhauling for different type of valves including pneumatic operated Valves, relief valves, isolation valves and check valves. Vibration readings and analysis and provide recommendation to ensure rotating equipment reliability. Use advanced diagnostic tools such as ultrasonic detectors, vibration monitoring devices, laser alignment kits in addition to the standard repair tools. Remove and replace rotating equipment after repairs with flange management within specifications. Pressure testing on all product transfer lines, from the various process plants to storages LPG, Solvents, MO gas.

Pressure testing of all vessels exchangers valves pumps re-boilers and columns.Rebuilding of pumps gearboxes shafts reactor seals.Weld up to high pressure welding heavy plate arc. Welding and use of gas cutting equipment. Preventative and failure analysis and failure reports. Pump alignment conducting route cause analysis on critical equipment failures completing and signing off pump overhauls reports.Conduct unit checks on a daily basis running equipment and live systems. Repairs of different plants detergent, hydrocarbon, blending, high speed packaging machine and alkylation unit.Upgrade of current benzyne pumps. Back to back seal system with closed loops, individual bladder systems and better emission control. Moving away from pusher, wedge type to a double back to back seal system with a better cooling, with a barrier fluid to cool the seal chamber. Upgrade from the old component seal arrangement to a cartridge type.
