With over 36 years of experience in the dynamic oil and gas industry, I have witnessed first-hand the transformative power we hold to impact the lives and livelihoods of people across our great nation.As the Chairman and CEO of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), I am privileged to lead this esteemed organization and play a pivotal role in shaping the energy landscape of our country.During my tenure as the CMD of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Fortune Global 500 Company, I had the honour of leading a talented team of close to 9,000 BPCLites and working alongside over 3 lakh business associates. Together, we embraced our core purpose of 'Energizing Lives', ensuring that each of the 18 million daily interactions our valued customers had with BPCL across our extensive network of 26,000+ points of sale and 85 million LPG households were transformative experiences.Previously, I also had the privilege of serving as the Chairman of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL), a prominent Joint Venture City Gas Distribution (CGD) Company listed on Indian bourses. I contributed as a member of the Board of Petronet LNG Ltd (PLL), a renowned Joint Venture Company listed on Indian stock exchanges. Moreover, I held the position of President (Africa & Australia) in Bharat Petro Resources Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of BPCL engaged in the exploration of oil and gas resources primarily in overseas territories.Passionate about harnessing the power of talent, innovation, and technology, I am committed to empowering our customers and stakeholders.
