As a leader on the Vistaprint technology leadership team, I spearheaded the replatforming of the entire merchandising platform, which supported a $1.2B global eCommerce website serving over 16 million customers. This involved transitioning from a monolithic architecture to a microservices and microfrontend approach.My responsibilities encompassed various areas, including site wide search, navigation, upper funnel marketing pages, product and category pages, cross-sell capabilities, the web platform, A/B testing platform, design system, and the company-wide content management system (CMS).My domain consisted of more than 50 team members across product, engineering, and UX. To support the growth of the front-end engineering teams, I established new teams in India and Barcelona, scaling the total number of teams from 1 to 4.
