We built an end-to-end data collection, analysis, and insights system to provide early detection and accurate prediction - to contain an outbreak BEFORE it spreads. We did it with flu. Then COVID hit, and proved everything we built works. Used by 5 million people and over 100 enterprises. Key accomplishments: * Generated over $100M in total product sales across enterprise and consumer.* Created and launched a SaaS solution that leveraged ML, deep learning, non-traditional real-world data, and synthetic data (created via GenAI) to predict -- up to 20 weeks in advance -- the business impact of spreading illness. Used by large enterprises including CVS, Tylenol, Lysol, health systems, and insurers before, during, and after the COVID pandemic.* Created the "smart thermometer," scaling from concept to 5M users; maintained over 90% market share against entry from global brands like Philips, Nokia, Motorola, Vicks, and Braun. These products both triaged users and dynamically collected data BEFORE the point-of-care - while people were experiencing early symptoms or concerned about exposure - for predicting population level illness spread. Won a dozen national awards, including the Cleveland Clinic Medical Innovation Prize; appeared in an Apple TV commercial; first app-connected product co-branded with Sesame Street. Amongst the highest rated health apps -- 4.8 stars on Apple with 40K+ ratings. Advised executive team and board members at this publicly traded company. With $10B in revenue primarily as a distributor of medical, veterinary and dental products, the company was at a cross roads and looking to embrace technology as a means to both grow revenue and margins. Results: New positions added to their executive team, and an overhaul of their e-commerce platform, data management systems and customer engagement approach.

Pioneered "market shaping" strategies to improve global access to medicines. Key Accomplishments: * Brokered agreements between pharmaceutical companies, governments, and multilaterals that lowered the price of medicines for HIV, malaria and TB resulting in over $1 billion in cost savings for developing countries. * Enabled 40 new treatments to reach market in under 5 years through innovative partnerships and negotiations.* Built and led a global team of 50 partnerships leaders, negotiators, and scientists (process and analytical chemists working to improve drug synthesis), indirectly managing 100 in-country staff. * Managed budget and procurement for world's largest pediatric HIV/AIDS program (600K+ patients) and largest 2nd-line HIV/AIDS program (12 countries).* Earlier roles as Director of Drug Access (2008-2010) and internal co-founder & Manager, Malaria Program (2007-2008)

The largest student-run organization at the University of Michigan, it supports children undergoing extensive physical rehabilitation and raises ~$500,000 each year for CS Mott Children's Hospital. It had a huge impact on my life - because of it, I've spent most of my career trying to build organizations that have a social impact.
