I joined the Podcast leadership team and helped scale the podcast/talk creator products (Anchor by Spotify, Spotify for Podcasters, Spotify Live) and optimized the podcast consumer experience for consumption and revenue.Reporting to the Head of Podcast Vertical, I led a team of 40 people across a few Strategy & Operations functions:* Strategy: Cross-functional alignment on 1-3 year business plans, strategic analyses, developing recommendations to executive leadership. * Insights: Central team consisting of UR, DS that partner closely with Product, Marketing, Business teams.* Program management: Team of program managers that worked with product teams to lead large scale, complex, cross-functional programs.* Creator product operations & policy: Developing internal processes to support key product features and processes including content reviews, fraud operations, monetization policy enforcement.* Operations: Responsible for ensuring the org is running smoothly including team onboarding, annual and quarterly strategy planning, OKRs, key rhythms and rituals.Some highlights include:* Defining 1-3 year podcast strategy and business plan for the company* Leading new product initiatives to drive growth and revenue including paid podcast subscriptions, Spotify’s live audio app, video podcasts, ads for podcasts* Launching and scaling video podcasts on Spotify from inception through to PMF, which saw exceptional growth, and is now a core product area at Spotify* Integrating Anchor and Locker Room businesses* Developing complex xfn strategy to streamline multiple creator product experiences under one tech platform and brand* Working closely with Core Exp, Personalization / ML teams to unlock new consumption experiences for emerging formats* Scaling the Podcast Product org from 50 people to over 250 people within 2 years* Establishing an operating framework and rhythm (OKRs, annual planning) for the team* Assessing new business and growth opportunities inc. I founded T​he Crimson Bride, the leading curated wedding inspiration platform for style-savvy Indian & South Asian couples. The website provided real weddings inspiration, planning advice, trends and wedding vendor recommendations.Highlights include:* Product Development & Management: Designing, building and managing an online wedding content platform from concept through its various iterations. * Branding & Marketing: Establishing a premium wedding brand with +120k organic Instagram followers, +50k visitors per month, $Xk monthly revenue. * Content: Producing high quality editorial content strategy that our audience loves and trusts.* Operations: Growing a diverse team in India, US & Australia and managing all aspects of the business from finance, HR* Featured startup on national TV in Australia.

I founded and managed the Strategy & Operations team at JioSaavn, India's #1 music and podcast streaming app. The group of 8 people was responsible for business strategy, analysis, OKR planning and project management of high-impact strategic initiatives across key business lines: growth, subscriptions, advertising, B2B and key functions ie product, marketing, content & creator.In my role, I worked closely with the Founders, C-suite & Executive Leadership to lead the company strategy, corporate development, financial modeling, P&L management and board & investor communication.Some highlights include: * Part of leadership overseeing transaction and post-integration strategy and analysis of $1bn merger between Saavn & JioMusic* Developing & iterating strategic framework & operational processes required to scale user base from 20m to +100m MAUs within 2 years* Leading and developing a global team of high-performing Strategy & Ops professionals in US & India.* Directly overseeing the Marketing, Growth (India & International), Podcasts & New Business Ventures functions.

I optimized top of funnel product features and worked on developing new ones to grow users and engagement for India's #1 music streaming app. Assisted with strategy and operations.

I was part of Intuit's initial startup team in Australia, responsible for scaling its Quickbooks Online cloud accounting product in the market. I worked with leadership on top of funnel initiatives, including growing our presence in the startup community.

I was promoted to Commercial Manager for Lion's expanding Asia business. I provided strategy, commercial finance and project management support to the Managing Director of the newly created business unit.

I moved into an in-house role at Lion Co, Australia's leading food and beverage company. I was involved in:* Group Strategy - Reviewing, developing insights and providing recommendations on group level strategic opportunities for senior leadership team (CEO, CFO)* Business Unit Strategy - Partnering with BU key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to provide strategic review, insights and recommendations

I joined Nomura as a graduate analyst in the investment banking division and worked on a number of M&A transactions across the Consumer / Retail, Financial Institutions and Natural Resources sectors.
