Started working in a project funded by DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance (India Alliance) entitled "Towards a malaria blood-stage vaccine: identification and structural analysis of key ligand complexes on Plasmodium falciparum merozoite through proteomic, cryoEM and immunological approaches".

> Analyzed biological data using BLAST, MEGA, PyMOL, Chimera, MODELLER, and Molecular Docking Tools (Autodock, PyRx).> Learned basic and advanced Linux commands essential for bioinformatics and genomics research.> Developed proficiency in Molecular Docking tools and Molecular dynamics simulation study using GROMACS.> Applied NGS data analysis techniques including sequence alignment, variant calling, and quality control.> Explored network analysis tools and performed biological network analysis using Cytoscape. > Completed a short project using molecular docking techniques to investigate protein-ligand interactions.

I did this extracurricular internship in the Electron Microscope Facility, Department of Anatomy at AIIMS, New Delhi. I was working with the research group, mainly focussed on Ewing’s sarcoma(ES) a rare type of malignant cancer that occurs in bones or the soft tissue around the bones. The objective was to develop a novel nanotechnology-based visual, rapid, cost-effective detection system for ES. In this experience, I learned techniques related to recombinant DNA technology and protein purification.
