• Applied soft-computation techniques to ease predictive modeling in fluid mechanics problems

• Developed cost estimates for CO2 capture and storage for Indian power plants under various policy scenarios.
• Modeled variabilities in CCS costs for existing and upcoming power plants
• The work from this project was presented at the GHGT-13, Switzerland with me as the first author.

• Incorporated costing model within a geospatial framework to optimize CCS architecture in India
• Identified mechanisms for cost-reduction of ~$10/t-CO2 for CO2 mitigation
• Co-authored a report submitted to the Government of India with prominent Indian energy experts; one journal paper published and one book under preparation

• Utilized Integrated Environmental Control Modeling (IECM) simulations to assess environmental impacts of CCS
• Also assessed impacts of advanced air pollution mitigation controls in Indian power plants
