As the Incharge-Newsroom Systems, I was responsible for the NRCS installations for NDTV in Delhi and Mumbai and smooth functioning of all the 5 channels.My role also included integration with Automation Systems.I was also responsible for training and mentoring technical personnel on Newsroom Automation.It was during my stint as the Incharge-Newsroom Systems when NDTV was declared as the best managed iNews site in the world.

My role included PCR and Studio functions like CGs, Vision Mixing and Studio Cameras. Also I was responsible for maintaining the Video Archives which incidentally is one of the biggest Video Archives in India.I was also a part of the production team which produced Question Time India for the BBC World and the launch episode of the award winning audience show called We The People.My experience in Production and Broadcast Operations have enabled me to work very closely with producers and gives me a definite edge over others as far as Broadcast Technology and Broadcast Operations go.
