Piramal Foundation is a philanthropic arm of Piramal Group. The foundation undertakes projects under the four broad areas – healthcare, education, livelihood creation and youth empowerment.I worked as "Gandhi Fellow" in Barpeta, Assam under the Aspirational District Transformation Program. I along with my team of 5 fellows, 2 PLs and 1 PM created the base in the district as we were the 1st batch of fellows working in the district. My 2 years of Gandhi Fellowship experience gave me a different perspective to look at the public system. I worked on various projects with different stakeholders; it helped me to acquire a range of skills like community mobilizations, stakeholder management, government liaisoning, project management and data analysis. I comprehend how different aspects are related to each other in a public system.I hope to use my skills and knowledge to solve implementation hurdles and bring positive changes in the lives of people.
