I am currently an accounting student at Portland State University. I hold the position of Director of Recruiting Events at Beta Alpha Psi - Epsilon Alpha - PSU chapter. The recruiting events department work in close liaison with accounting industry and professionals. Together with BAP, I help organize recruiting events at PSU for my fellow students, and arrange supportive workshops and events to improve interview skills. Besides being a busy full time accounting student, I am volunteering for Cash Oregon to prepare tax for low-income and senior individuals.The motivation to transfer career into accounting comes from a long time passion of accounting and numbers, and a strong will to learn and challenge myself continuously. After a few years in the hospitality industry, the chance of pursuing an accounting degree emerged with my move to the wonderful city of Portland. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a lifetime learner. The communication skills with customers and multi-tasking abilities I've developed through my past experience are tremendously helpful for me to keep a balanced life while being keen in my study. Traveling is my lifetime passion, and what makes traveling so exciting is the chance to meet new people and taste great food.
