As a seasoned marketing professional with nearly a decade of experience, I have dedicated the past five years to shaping the minds of future marketing leaders as an instructor within the Everett Public School system.My journey in marketing has provided me with a deep understanding of the industry, which I have passionately shared with my students. Through teaching, I have learned the true value of a college, career and technical education and how meaningful it can be for students. This hands-on experience has equipped me with the skills to lead my district's Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful. I firmly believe that CTE is a cornerstone of our educational system, especially in Massachusetts, where it plays a crucial role in preparing students for college and/or the workforce. By providing practical skills, real-world experience, and work-based learning opportunities, CTE programs empower students to explore the various pathways available to them, whether that involves pursuing higher education or entering the workforce.Looking ahead, my goal is to continue enhancing the quality and reach of the CTE programs in Everett. I am committed to fostering a learning environment that not only equips students with technical skills but also encourages creativity, confidence, innovation, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. By collaborating with industry leaders and integrating cutting-edge practices, I hope to ensure that our programs remain at the forefront of a CTE education, preparing our students for wherever their journey takes them.
