Siobhan joined the Barbados Employers’ Confederation in June 2010, as an Industrial Relations Officer. In her substantive post, she is responsible for providing advice on human resource and industrial relations issues, as well as coordinating and conducting training interventions. She is also an advocate for employers’ rights, representing their interests on several boards and committees. Siobhan was instrumental in the campaign to increase the BEC 's image and visibility, and championed the initiatives to revise the mission, vision and core values of the organization, as well as the organization's re-branding activities.

As a Research Coordinator was instrumental in laying the foundation for the company’s research department, then in its infancy. I used my strong analytical nature and experience in designing survey instruments, questionnaire administration, analysis and report writing led me to work on Employee Engagement and Customer Service initiatives with well respected companies and associations in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean. Additionally, I played a major role in the development and implementation of executive development and training initiatives across the region.
