Occupational therapy assessment, reporting, equipment prescription and rehabilitation provision. Primarily servicing clients in the community who have experienced neurological impairment, with the aim of supporting clients to live their best life.

Supported clients and their families following neurological impairment and multi-traumas. Areas of support included coordinating and managing multidisciplinary teams, leading and overseeing major home modifications, setting up and managing community care teams, disability specialist holiday arrangements, vehicle procurement, benefit applications, educational appeals, and returning to work. Worked in situations with complex family dynamics including child protection issues.

Provided neurological assessments and rehabilitation provision across both acute and sub-acute (rehabilitation) settings, including conducting comprehensive cognitive, sensory and functional assessments. Worked with a varied client group including those who have experienced neurological disorders, acquired brain injury including stroke and spinal cord injuries. Supervised and managed support to junior therapists.

Rotational learning position including working on the locked dementia, orthopaedic, general medical, and neurosurgical wards.
