I am now a night shift supervisor working on the Galdi machine doing orders for out customers. Role entails getting machine set up and running the orders out with the correct dates and batch codes on them.

In this job I am ringing up companies on different campaigns either letting them know information or doing surveys for other IT companies. It is all outbound calls and mostly cold calls but none of them are really sales calls. It is so the IT companies I am working on behalf of can use our information to get them to buy some products from them in the furture as thanks to Inform they would have a timeframe and a budget of the work that needs to be done.Wilga Vale Farm - Peak Hill March - June 2012 Au pair/FarmerI have just completed my three month regional work which means I am now able to apply for my second year visa. I had to look after 3 young kids as well as work on the farm. It was a challenging 3 months but such an enjoyable time over all and worth it if i can stay in Australia for another year.

Face to face was so much different from the door to door sales but so much the same as well. It was harder for me at the beginning to get people to stop on the street as i was so used to not having to stop people just wait for them to answer the door. Once i got the hang of stopping people and started to get talking about the charity i found i enjoyed this role as challenging as it was as well.

First job in Australia and I got to go round and knock doors all around NSW trying to help people save money on their electricity. It was a challenging role to say the least but with it I learnt more about electricity than I ever thought I would and got to meet lovely people. This job made me realise I was a lot more competitive than I ever thought I was.

In this role I had to check on boiled eggs to make sure their quality was well enough to send out to the customers. I also had to check the weights and the brine liquid it was in. Then had to fill out paper work for each check that was done as well as for the massive clean we had to do at the end of each shift.

In this role I had to answer phone calls and set up new accounts for people over the phone or try and help them get a better deal for their insurance. I also helped with any quires they had regarding their insurance such as if they were covered for all after an accident and to help them claim back. Although this was just a part time job for when I was at university I thoroughly enjoyed this role.

In this role I worked on tills so I was handling money and had to keep the shop sheleves stocked and the place clean and tidy with the help of my co-workers. I have also worked at my university selling NUS student cards to my fellow students and setting them up online with their cards by helping them fill in the form and then helping them pay for it online or in cash. I also lived in Tennifree for a summer where I did promotion work for pubs and nightclubs.Charity Work: All during my two year at university I was part of the RAG (Raising and Giving) society where we raised money for different charity's but our main one was Kidscan which was raising money for children with cancer. We also raised awareness at other charity events such as Breast cancer. I had to plan this event in our student union. I have also ran a mini marathon last April in aid of our local hospital where my family and I raised over £1700 for the stroke unit.
