Brown Thomas and Arnotts form part of the Selfridges Group, providing leading luxury shopping experiences for millions of customers around the world through iconic, innovative and inspiring retail destinations.I work mainly with teams across head office and our 2 BT2 stores, working in close partnership with Learning, Development and Engagement, People Support and ER/ IR functions.I endeavour to and enjoy supporting team members through their time with Brown Thomas Arnotts by building and maintaining long term relationships. I support with general queries, recruitment, performance management, talent management and attraction as well as having the opportunity to mentor the People Support team.

I joined Brown Thomas in July 2017 and initially worked on the HR support team as front line support for all HR queries. The role was varied and included administrative duties and project support; assisting with recruitment, learning and development, employee life-cycle administration, maintenance of the HR database (Core), data quality control while playing my part in ensuring that the HR office operates efficiently.

Cpl Healthcare is an international provider of healthcare staffing services, with over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry, support both public and private sector organisations.On my return to Cpl I joined the International Nursing team where I had a dual role- account management of large public and private sector clients as well as international recruitment.I had the opportunity to travel internationally in this role and recruited specialist staff from Europe and further afield.

Western Management Consultants (WMC) is one of the longest standing and most respected Canadian names in management consulting. Independent and objective, WMC delivers lasting results across many practice areas in both the public and private sectors. I spent 12 months in Canada where I had the opportunity to work with a Management Consultancy business which has 4 offices across Canada- Vancouver, Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary. This was a broad role encompassing supporting consultants across seven primary disciplines; mainly executive search and people services.

Upon finishing my degree I secured a role with CPL Healthcare in Limerick where I worked specifically on the Pharmacy Recruitment Team.Here I gained experience in 360 recruitment managing multiple accounts with responsibility for 360 recruitment of permanent, contract and temporary roles nationally.I was involved in a company-wide “Coaching Academy”- analysing training needs and sourcing internal/external facilitators to meet training requirements across all teams.I had the opportunity to represent CPL at universities & colleges, attending careers and recruitment fairs.I served as the ISO representative for Permanent Healthcare recruitment team.

Over the course of my co-operative placement I worked with the Customer Supply Team in ESB.This was a fantastic first introduction to working in HR. Here I gained experience in recruitment of summer staff, organising training and events and acting as a superuser for their Time Management system.Completed a FETAC level 5 course in Project Management.
