Lead the direction of The Studio shop within Nova Labs, a community makerspace 501(c)3 corporation. Maintain the space, and coordinate instructors and tool stewards for ensuring safe operation of the tool sets by members of the space. Participate in policy discussions and setting direction for the organization. Teach sign off and project classes in various shops within Nova Labs (metal shop sign-off, leather tooling project class). Nova Labs relocated from a rental space in Reston to a purchased facility in Fairfax, VA in 2022. Nova Labs includes fine jewelry, stained glass, woodworking, metalworking, blacksmithing, CNC fabrication, 3D printing, Composites and Resins, leatherworking, silk screening, crafting, arts, and also sponsors multiple youth programs including competitive robotics teams.

I perform structural inspections of tanks and voids on naval vessels to ensure structural integrity is not compromised by corrosion or other damage that the ship acquires over the course of its life. I am also developing a plan to bring Finite Element Analysis to the waterfront for further structural analysis on newer model ships that don't fully fit into the traditional Navy ship designs and behave different from those traditional ships.

The system tracks Ship Building Specialissts' comments, logs Independent Government Estimates and provides analytics and reporting tools for standardizing and improving specification development across contractors.Provided technical project management and feedback to contractors for emergent work in ship maintenance.Documented and justify Work Certification for Maintenance Availabilities of US Navy ships to SWRMC Chief Engineer.

Designed fixtures and mechanisms to improve processes of production shops, such as reducing the man-hours to manufacture safety nets by more than 75% while increasing safety and productivity with the production of the net making table.Established pictoral inventory of machinery within machine shop.
