This programme offers upskilling, coaching, mentoring, networking opportunities and work placements to the female participants seeking to return to the sector.

Initially joined as a member of this group in 2011 but took over the chair in 2013.The group is directly responsible for the establishment of the Masters and Diploma in Product Management with DIT Aungier St.

Openet were founded in 1999 and have around 950 employees with key offices in Ireland, the US, Brazil and Malaysia. Openet have customers in over 28 countries worldwide. I was responsible for managing the strategic direction of the entire portfolio of Openet’s products incorporating input from the corporate leadership team, our customer base and the market in general. I coordinated, managed and mentored the product management team, developing key competencies to ensure highly successful delivery of Openet’s business strategy.I defined and managed processes to enable successful interaction between Product Management and other stakeholders such as Engineering, Sales & Services, Alliances and Marketing.I restructured the Product Management team to enable support of the Agile development process in Openet.I communicated clear high-level product strategy co-ordinating input from the market (customers), Openet’s innovation team, sales, leadership and the alliances team.

As Director of Product Management at Openet I was responsible for continuing to manage the Policy Manager product and supporting the Vice President in the day to day management of the team.I was a key influencer in driving change within the organization as Openet expanded its portfolio.

Prior to my appointment as head of Product Management I was responsible for Openet’s Policy Manager product – voted #1 in its industry class by Infonetics for 3 years in a row. I was influential in closing many multi-million euro deals for this product through strong support of the sales organization.
