Siomara Bridges-Mata is a non-profit leader, social entrepreneur, master facilitator, and keynote speaker with more than 15 years of experience in fostering the growth of youth and adults within the nonprofit sector and beyond. She is credited for her ability to challenge one's thinking, provide inspiration and effective strategies that move one from complacency to action, and live an intentional life. Siomara established a track record of impeccable community impact bringing her skills to reputable nonprofits such as NYC-based Ballet Hispanico, Big Thought in Dallas, TX, The Helen Gordan Davis Centre for Women, Frameworks of Tampa Bay, and the David A Straz Center for Performing Arts in Tampa, FL.  In her current role as Executive Director at NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Pinellas, Siomara leads by cultivating a dedicated team to advance the organization's mission of addressing the mental health needs of Pinellas County. Through strategic planning, program development, and collaboration, she ensures that the daily actions are aligned to improve mental health and enhance the quality of life for individuals and families affected by mental illness. Serving as the chief spokesperson, she actively cultivates community relationships, engaging in advocacy and public relations initiatives to further support and fulfill NAMI's mission.Passionate about the inner well-being of humans and movement, Siomara also founded the MOVE Bridges Dance Project, an initiative that unifies her skills of teaching, facilitating, and cultivating a space for collaboration and cultural exchange. Siomara produces workshops throughout Latin America, Texas, Florida, and New York, transforming countless lives with her unique methodology of creating movement experiences that yield powerful lessons applicable to participants' everyday lives. Her social entrepreneurial endeavors and impact on the community have been recognized with features in the Tampa Bay Business and Wealth Magazine and on news outlets like FOX 13, Bay News 9, and Tampa Bay Times’ Everyday Tampa Bay series.Siomara is constantly developing new and creative ways to provide individuals with opportunities to reflect, grow, and become the best version of themselves.
