Calvert Project Consent Lead for Permanent Works. The role includes:- Leading the design team in respect to Environmental, Planning, and Highway consents. - Weekly reporting to Project Director and Project Team for scheduling and reporting on delivery of all permanent works consents required to start work. Manage the recording of consents into relevant registers and reporting to Project Director, Senior Leadership Team and HS2 for the section.- Lead, guide, and oversee the Designers in preparing documentation to apply, negotiate and obtain the various consents that are required. -Liaising across EKFB in order to effectively prepare the proper handling of discussions with 3rd parties and HS2 in respect to Consents, leading the interaction with HS2.- Manage meetings & workshops with HS2 and 3rd parties to support the consentability of the design proposal. - Coordination with the Design Delivery, Construction, and Assurance teams in managing the interrelation between consenting activities in the design and delivery process and design schedule, which includes capturing and help manage risk and change.- Work in conjunction with Construction Planning and Design Delivery teams to define and follow a design schedule comprising the design consent activities and procedures.

I spent time on the Dewatering and Water Management team and the Concrete Blinding team.Experiences gained and roles;- Usage of a Total Station, GPS & Laser levels - Trained to use a CAT and Generator to identify buried services- Update and distribute a live service drawing using AutoCAD to the client on a weekly basis - Preparing check-sheets containing as-built information for dewatering wells, historical boreholes and concrete pours- Preparing documents such as Permits to Dig, Activity Plans and Lifetime Quality Records- Liaise with Supervisors/Foremen and communicate with our subcontractors
