I am currently working on a few stealth projects.I also invested in VGS, Kenzie Academy, Handshake, Agave, and a few others.In my previous life in San Francisco, I helped started a few different companies.Prefer: As one of the cofounders at Prefer, I helped to spearhead the product and engineering direction in the early days. We raised our Series A funding from Benchmark.Expa: I joined Expa as their Engineer-in-Residence. Here, I got to work with some of the best product thinkers like Garrett and Vítor. Prefer came out of Expa.Envoy: At Envoy, I worked on the early product. The company has since grown from a 2 people team (me and Larry) to more than 100 people and millions of revenue today. Envoy is funded by Andreessen Horowitz.GraffitiGeo: I founded GraffitiGeo while I was a freshman in college. GraffitiGeo was funded by Y Combinator and we later sold it to Loopt.

I helped grow the website to more than 80,000 profiles within a few days.WednesdayNight was a dating website that was designed for lazy people. We signed up more than 200 users with credit cards on filed within the first few weeks after the website was launched.

We raised a small angel round for DailyMuses.I created the first Javascript frontend using Backbone. As part of my work on the Backbone frontend for DailyMuses, I created Backbone.Routes which was one of the early Backbone's routing systems.I also worked on the iPhone app redesign and the metrics system for the application to track daily usage of our users.

Iphone DeveloperLoopt Sep 2009 - May 2010Mountain View, Ca, UsI was the only developer working on the Loopt Mix iPhone application. While I was working on the application, the application had more than 100 thousands active users per day with more than 1 million messages sent per day. I helped work on new features and bugs.Loopt Mix was one of leading location based social networks for people to chat with people who were physically close to them. -
CofounderGraffitigeo, Inc. Jan 2009 - Sep 2009I cofounded graffitiGeo when I was still a freshman in college. graffitiGeo was funded by Y Combinator as part of the summer 2009 batch. In late 2009, graffitiGeo was acquired by Loopt.graffitiGeo is one of the first location based services launched in early 2009 utilizing the GPS system in iPhone. It was also once one of the most popular iPhone applications in Japan and signed up more than 5 thousands of users per day at its peak.We also created the first augmented reality application based on the technology we built on graffitiGeo.The idea of graffitiGeo came from my curiosity of utilizing the GPS system in the iPhone when the iOS SDK came out in late 2008. I created the first backend system and the first prototype of graffitiGeo which helped us to get into Y Combinator. -
