It never occurred to me that I was the “technology guy”.I was well into young adulthood when it dawned on me: not everyone spent their free time building computers. Technology was such an integral part of my childhood life. I have fully embraced my inner tech geek and my mission is to improve my clients’ worlds using the skillsets that I was blessed with.My career in the municipal court system presented a different perspective on a challenge that I jumped at the opportunity to solve: How do I leverage technology to improve efficiency and productivity for this organization?For the court, this meant identifying a major problem they were facing, and uncovering the root of that issue to find a sustainable, long-term solution. They were challenged with:- A complicated system that decreased productivity and strained an already overwhelmed workforce- Manual processes that were inefficient that led to higher incidence of mistakes- Disparate systems and departments that did not communicate effectively with each otherThe approach I take with every client is long term solution-focused, identifying the source of problems rather than trying to find a short term fix. I partner with organizations to help them:- Develop automated solutions to improve workforce productivity and efficiency, and decrease human error- Implement integrated systems that work seamlessly together- Get peace of mind that they are making the right technology decisions to propel their organization forwardWith great power comes great responsibility. There’s my inner geek rearing its head.
