I returned to Cohen & Cohen, despite moving out of the area, to offer support as an independent contractor. As my time is more streamlined, so are my responsibilities. Trusted over a 10-month internship period to: handle sensitive material, give advice on bench and jury trials, and complete research for current cases brought against the city. I drafted motions for the prosecutors and compiled research and strategies to use in criminal trials. As the office's sole intern, I wore many hats and was relied on by the entire.
