As interim executive director of Fundación Guaicaramo, I successfully led a team through difficult circumstances during the COVID-19 pandemic. We rethought the foundation's approach to serving marginalized communities with limited internet access, optimizing our resources and implementing innovative programs that improved the skills and capabilities of the community in the areas of education, productivity, entrepreneurship, and innovation.Additionally, I formed strategic partnerships with other organizations and laid the foundations for future expansion of the foundation. I recruited and consolidated a highly effective team, reinvigorating the foundation's essence and purpose. We designed and tested new models of education of the self, productivity, entrepreneurship, and innovation, laying the groundwork for future sustainable solutions. I also initiated projects that focused on the regeneration of the environment and the development of social entrepreneurship, empowering marginalized communities.

As the Chief Sustainability Officer of Guaicaramo, I had the privilege of overseeing and contributing to a variety of sustainability projects, including initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, I was deeply involved in developing our social responsibility and community engagement strategies, working closely with local communities to ensure our impact was positive and long-lasting. My role also included guiding and directing the Guaicaramo Foundation, helping to maximize its impact in the areas that mattered most. Lastly, I led the development of several critical sustainability projects, including our regenerative agriculture initiative, data gathering efforts, and certification process. Overall, my work at Guaicaramo allowed me to grow exponentially and help lay the pillars of the future expansion.

Funded and led the company in a hybrid business model between sustainability consultancy and the development Samanea, a micro franchise model for waste pick up. Successful Exit in 2018.
