Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Sirous Thampi graduated from the International School of Bangkok in 1997. Following graduation, he spent a year doing volunteer work for the Baha’i faith in Uganda and Cambodia. He then attended Georgetown University in Washington DC, where he received a B.S. in Foreign Service (cum laude). Sirous went on to receive an MBA and Masters in Planning from USC in 2008, after which he spent 12 years as an analyst and consultant for large engineering consulting firms, focusing on transportation projects across the American hemisphere. Sirous’ final consulting engagement in 2018 for Dominion Energy led to a role as VP of Innovation and Program Management with REV LNG. During his time at REV LNG, the company’s dairy RNG platform grew from a handful of early stage projects to a portfolio with a capital value exceeding $1 billion.Having accomplished his goals in the corporate world, and seeking to build a different kind of business, Sirous started THAMPICO LLC in 2020. With his core belief that business can and should be a vehicle for social impact, Sirous hopes to give back to those who haven’t had the benefit of the opportunities he has so generously been given, including the mentorship of many kind and accomplished people who have supported his journey to this point. THAMPICO is the fulcrum of Sirous' experience, training, education, philosophy, and values. In giving the company his last name, Sirous wants to honor his lineage and always do the right thing for his clients, their communities, and the world at large.
